July 2012: SENSeOR joins WIKA Group.

June 2011: SENSeOR markets its revolutionary wireless SAW strain gages.

July 2010: SENSeOR partners with Franche-Comté University to open a SAW device production line in Besançon (France).

June 2010: New investors (AVANCE EUROPE and E ILE DE FRANCE) enter SENSeOR’s capital.
SENSeOR employs 18 people.
SENSeOR wins the prize of best solution in “Physical Measurements” of “MESURES Palmarès Technologique” (French Technological Prize).

March 2010: SENSeOR wins the « Trophée Spécial » at Classe Export, French Fair dedicated to International Business, rewarding its dynamic international development policy.

Feb. 2010: New investors (Italian Angels for Growth) enter SENSeOR’s capital.

Nov.2009: SENSeOR opens its German subsidiary.

June 2009: New investors (SUCCESS EUROPE and Jan LOEBER) enter SENSeOR’s capital. Previous investors (VIZILLE CAPITAL INNOVATION-VCI, PRIMAVERIS, and SUDINNOVA- SOCIETE FINANCIERE D’INNOVATION DU SUD-EST) renew their trust participating in this new financing round.
SENSeOR employs 15 people.

2009: First proprietary SAW sensor for pressure measurements in valves for Tire Pressure Monitoring.

July 2008: SENSeOR opens facilities in Besançon (France), close to scientific partner FEMTO facilities.

2008: First chemical sensor developed for gas detection.

June 2007: 3 new investors (VIZILLE CAPITAL INNOVATION-VCI, PRIMAVERIS, and SUDINNOVA- SOCIETE FINANCIERE D’INNOVATION DU SUD-EST) enter SENSeOR’s capital base.
SENSeOR employs 9 people.

2007: First stress sensor developed for industrial equipment monitoring.

2006: Temperature sensors produced in volumes for industrial applications (temperature monitoring on rotating parts in ship engines)

Aug.2006: SENSeOR wins the French competition “Concours National de Création d’Entreprise”, promoting entrepreneurship, sponsored by OSEO and French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

Feb. 2006: Gerhard Heider buys TEMEX SAW-activity from TEMEX and creates SENSeOR.
He is supported by PACA-EST incubator until Oct. 2007.
SENSeOR employs 4 people. SENSeOR’s headquarters are in Sophia-Antipolis science park (France).

2005: First SAW sensor in use for temperature measurements molded in plastic for tire monitoring.

Nov. 2002: TEMEX buys THALES Microsonics (formerly THOMSON-csf Microsonics) from Thales Group.
First major project using SAW sensors is on-going since 2001 (Tire Pressure Monitoring).

90’s: SAW filters for mobile phones are produced in high volumes by industrials, like Thomson.

80’s: SAW technology has been investigated for years and industrial applications become numerous.
